About Us
"A breathe of fresh air!"

Philosophy
It is my whole hearted belief that for the first 6 years of a child's life are critical for developing a strong foundation for the years to come. Through the education of Developmentally Appropriate Practices and Learning Through Play, I feel strongly that it is our role as child care providers to maintain the delicate balance between providing structure and guidance to children as they grow; allowing them to be the designers and pace-setters of their own individual development & play experiences. Rather than providing a pre-approved curriculum, the child's current interests and hobbies will dictate any weekly themes, outings, and play enhancements that will be available to them.
About Me
I was born and raised in a close-knit family with 2 older brothers and 1 younger sister; all of us almost exactly one year apart. Now the "Cool Aunty" of 10 nieces/nephews. Some of my fondest memories growing up were creative play with close friends and visiting my extended family on the farm. I can thank these close friends and family for my aspiration in adventure and creativity. My name is Sarah Brinkman and my true passion for child care began back in 2011 working as a nanny with the Greenough Family in Edmonton AB; 4 kids in a home filled with the love for fostering and adoption! Venturing from there into a new city (Grande Prairie AB) with new opportunities (for both my husband and I), gained the business experience and now taking all that knowledge-from-experience to create an opportunity I never thought I would have; running my own business in an industry I am truly passionate about!

Gone on an Adventure!
New Home, New Space, New Adventure's!
After establishing a good routine and structure over the past year, we have achieved our goal of utilizing our wonderful City Transit! Our Adventurer's have worked hard on learning appropriate safety skills while in public and now have the opportunity to practice in the real world!
We aim to schedule at least one bus trip every week to places like the Library, Prairie Mall, Muskoseepi Park or McDonald's (with a play place; obviously!) The kids look forward to these trips ALL THE TIME and gain a lot of confidence when we have the chance to get out.
I believe it is important to introduce kids to these elements because the fulfillment builds so much trust in our relationships. I am so proud of our little group and how much we've been able to do because of this!
